===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR MARCH 1st – 3rd, 2024 =====

Ryan Anderson continues to dominate on the toughest tour in the sport and now leads in both highest average and total points. Tyler Menninga won in a rain-delayed mudfest in Jacksonville but still ended up losing ground to Anderson in the standings.

MTROC staff was on-site in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania this weekend to watch Chris DeHoyos pick up his first racing win of the season. Check out our RACING RECAP post for photos and highlights from that event.

Preston Collins came in to Henderson, Texas with a 9-race winning streak but it was veteran Allen Pezo putting an end to that with two wins.

Thank you to everyone who reported results to us this weekend: Rob Poutre, Mike Bevacqua, Max Gillie, Preston Collins, Bryan Wagner, Nick Davis, Sean Green, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

There was some big air from the racers at the Monster Nation events in Beaumont! Tyler Groth picked up his 1st win of the season after 6 previous unsuccessful trips to the finals. He beat Jack Brown who came back on Saturday afternoon for a wild win where he wheelied over the final jump and kicked the back end up ala Andy Brass in Wildfoot. Brown successfully landed the Dozer to pick up his 8th win of the season. As with the first race, the runner-up from race two—Marc McDonald—then came back later that night to get a win for himself.

===== EL PASO, TX =====

3/9 Sat Aft: RYAN ANDERSON [Son-uva Digger] defeated Colt Stephens [ThunderROARus]

3/10 Sun Aft: RYAN ANDERSON [Son-uva Digger] defeated Chris Koehler [Monster Mutt]

 Ryan Anderson has now won 13 of his 21 Stadium Series events including 3-in-a-row and 7 of his last 8. He’s already number one so he can’t get any higher, but he now has both the most points and the highest average so he is well and truly in first place. Colt Stephens raced in his 3rd final of the year and remains inside the Top Ten in eighth place, while Chris Koehler—who won the Overall Event Championship on Sunday—race in his first final round and moved up 14 spots which was the most of any driver.

===== FORT WAYNE, IN =====

3/9 Sat Aft: THOMAS BORDERS [Raybestos Powertrain] defeated Colton Kiser [American Scout]

3/9 Sat Ngt: DALTON VANSKYOCK [Stomper] defeated Jasmin Borders [Funky Monkey]

Fort Wayne is an historical event for the sport with a long history of great racing. The Full Throttle team ran a fast two-jump track that provided lots of close finishes. Thomas Borders in the sharp-looking, brand new Raybestos Powertrain took the win at event 1 over Colton Kiser. In the evening, Dalton VanSkyock returned after missing racing earlier in the day to post a win over fast-loser Jasmin Borders.

===== HARRISBURG, PA =====

3/9 Sat Aft: CORY SNYDER [Illuminator] defeated Travis Mowery [Toxic]

3/9 Sat Ngt: CHRIS DEHOYOS [Higher Education] defeated Travis Mowery [Toxic]

Be sure to check out our RACING RECAP with photos from Harrisburg! We saw a huge field of 7 trucks inside the Farm Show Arena this year. The track conditions were just right for great racing that saw some drivers use a full throttle approach and some use a low-and-tight approach. Travis Mowery made the finals both events, but he lost in the first race when the front driveshaft broke off the starting line, causing him to spin out in the first turn. In the evening, Mowery was running strong, but Chris DeHoyos—who returned on the break rule—stayed tight to the turns and pulled off an upset win.

===== HENDERSON, TX =====

3/9 Sat Aft: ALLEN PEZO [Predator] defeated Preston Collins [Outlaw]

Tyler Menninga is the 2nd driver to reach 20 wins this season as he picks up another Stadium Series victory over Bryce Kenny. Menninga is 4-0 against Kenny this season but this win came on one of the muddiest, messiest tracks of the season. The racing in Jacksonville was delayed 2 hours due to a major rain storm and the driver had to fight through wet and muddy conditions all night.

===== LAKE CHARLES, LA =====

3/9 Sat Aft: JEFF MURPHY [Fatal Attraction] defeated Justin Murphy [Prime Time]

3/9 Sat Ngt: TIM HALL JR [Jurassic Attack] defeated Jeff Murphy [Fatal Attraction]

The Nitro Tour ran a concrete holeshot track but with dirt ramps for their racing in Lake Charles. Tim Hall Jr had his 3-race winning streak broken by Jeff Murphy in Fatal Attraction in the semi-finals of the afternoon race.

It’s been feast of famine for Weston Anderson these past 3 weekends: 6 racing wins but also 5 first round loses. He won race #13 on Saturday in Little Rock and maintains his Top Ten spot. Sunday saw Brianna Mahon get her 2nd win of the season and first since Newark back in late January.

3/10 Sun Aft: JON ZIMMER JR [Terminal Velocity] defeated Triton Robbins [Krazy Train]

Jon Zimmer Jr shows that his performance in Davie, Florida a few weeks ago was nothing more than an off-week. He’s been in the finals 7 consecutive times since then and now has won 3 in a row with the All Star Tour. In fact, of his 18 races, Zimmer Jr has only missed the finals twice. His two wins this weekend gave him a bump of 6 spots in the rankings and rewarded him with a spot in the Top Ten.

3/9 Sat Ngt: ZACK GARNER [Wild Side] defeated Armando Castro [El Toro Loco]
