===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR MARCH 22nd – 24th, 2024 =====

It was a wild night of racing at the new Protective Stadium in Birmingham. Both Bakugan Dragonoid and ThunderROARus died on the starting line in the semi-finals, and replacement Avenger also failed to fire, which brought back Son-Uva Digger and Soldier Fortune in a strange situation. Ryan Anderson won that race and set-up a rematch with David Olfert in Velociraptor who had beaten Anderson in the quarter-finals. Although the current world #1 Anderson held a slight lead into the final turn, he hooked and rolled and let Olfert power past for his first event Stadium Series racing win! That also moves Olfert up into the Top 20.

Dalton Widner wins 4 of 5 in Tucson and is now the 3rd driver to reach wins after Tyler Menninga (23) and Preston Collins (22). We also saw drivers Terry Woodcock, Travis Rife, Preston Perez, Jerry Furajter, and Montana Robbins pick up their first wins of the season and rookie Dustin Lewis win his first career race in his debut weekend driving Monster Patrol in Montgomery.

Congratulations to Jon Zimmer Jr for winning the 2024 All Star Tour Monster Mashers Championship. He wasn’t able to pick up a racing win during this final weekend in Ringgold, but had already accumulated enough series points to have clinched the trophy before even arriving.

Thank you to everyone who reported results to us this weekend: Preston Perez, Mike Bevacqua, Nick Davis, Bryan Wagner, Nate Bay, Preston Collins, Ewan Ford, Gabriel Lee, Jessie Heiple, Trevor Beck, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!
