===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JUNE 5th – 7th, 2026 =====

Charlie Pauken III and Jon Zimmer Jr each picked up wins at the two-race extravaganza in Miami, Oklahoma. Pauken won the first night of racing in dry conditions, beating tough competition in Wild Side and Krazy Train, before getting an easy win in the finals when Barbarian toppled in the first turn. Zimmer won on Saturday in very muddy conditions as he expertly kept the truck at full throttle through the turns despite the poor conditions and beat out Triton Robbins in a close final round.

Eric Steinberg won the first Hot Wheels Live stadium race in America this past weekend as the tour took over Albertson Stadium in Boise, Idaho. Steinberg was driving the new anniversary body for Snake Bite, and his win was the first for the Snake since 2019!

Monsterrace kicked off their 6-event schedule in Hogsater, Sweden. Defending champ Örjan Henriksson in Yellow Cab took the opening day’s bracket, but settled for a respectable fourth on Sunday after destroying the supercharger the day before. That let Johan Schagerholm in Sonic pick up his first Full Size division win.

The 2X Tour split up for two tours this weekend and found some great competition, as tour newcomers Aaron Basl in the west and Jordan Fisher in the east won against the tour regulars. This weekend also saw exciting Figure-8 racing with Throwdown in Anderson, Indiana; Nick Jones sweeping the Malicious weekend in Cottage Grove; Greg Winchenbach winning 2 of 3 All Star races in Maine; and Johnny Davenport breaking Dillon Fenley’s 12-race winning streak in Poplar Bluff, Missouri!

===== ANDERSON, IN =====

6/5 Fri Ngt: DAVID OLFERT [Dirt Crew] defeated Colton Kiser [American Scout]

6/6 Sat Ngt: JOE FOLEY [Avenger] defeated Daron Basl [Block Head]

Monster Truck Throwdown took to the banked asphalt of Anderson Speedway for exciting Figure 8 racing! As expected, the track was challenging for both the trucks and drivers. Block Head and Rat Attack both had steering problems through the weekend. American Scout got knocked out after a bye run. Avenger landed sideways on Friday and suffered shock and four-link damage. Plus there were trucks crossing lanes and spinning out and it made for an exciting and unpredictable weekend of racing!

On Friday, David Olfert in the new-look Dirt Crew took the win over Colton Kiser in American Scout. That win helped move him up 4 spots in the rankings into 9th place overall. On Saturday, Daron Basl and Joe Foley got very close as they took turns sliding up into the other’s lane during their two head-to-head races. Basl advanced from the first round due to breakage the American Scout suffered during his bye run, but the results in the finals were the same with Foley taking the win and gaining 4 spots in the Open rankings.

===== AUSTIN, TX =====

This Monster Jam Arena Series event did not include side-by-side racing and so points could not be awarded.

===== BOISE, ID =====

6/6 Sat Ngt: ERIC STEINBERG [Snake Bite] defeated Frank Krmel [Mega Wrex]

Side-by-side racing returned to the Hot Wheels Live tour for the first time since last October in Auckland, Australia and for the first time on American soil since 2022! The reason for the return was because Hot Wheels held their first stadium event in the States at Albertson Stadium in Boise, Idaho. The first round got a bit confusing as it featured teammates in identically-bodied trucks racing each other to advance into the second round. The large Chicago style track with tight turns was definitely a different experience for the drivers who have been running on concrete hockey arenas for the past 7 years. The final round came down to veteran Frank Krmel and the only driver without a twin truck in competition: Eric Steinberg in the anniversary-bodied Snake Bite. Steinberg raced his way to a close win, picking up his first racing win since the Toughest Tour in West Plains, Missouri in 2022. This was also Snake Bite’s first racing win since Rodney Tweedy won at the MTRL event in Nashville, Tennessee back in September of 2019!

===== CEDAR CITY, UT =====

6/5 Fri Ngt: TIM HALL JR [Jurassic Attack] defeated Mikeal Christensen [Vendetta]

6/6 Sat Ngt: DALTON WIDNER [Shell Shock'ed] defeated Mikeal Christensen [Vendetta]

Team Throttle Monster took four of their best to Cedar City for another highly-rated shootout. Mike Christensen was in his 3rd consecutive final round, but it was employees Tim Hall Jr and Dalton Widner grabbing the wins.

6/6 Sat Ngt: NO POINTS; The bracket could not be scored

Nick Jones picked up his 5th win of the season at Cottage Grove Raceway on Friday night. He was the winner again on Saturday, but the bracket got out-of-sorts and we were not able to score it for points.

===== DODGE CITY, KS =====

6/6 Sat Aft: AARON BASL [Night Life] defeated Kory Kinal [Jekyll & Hyde]

With two 2X Live tours happening this weekend, the Creten called in Aaron Basl and the sharp-looking Night Life truck to fill out their field in Dodge City, Kansas. Basl was up to the challenge and beat out Dan Dahlgren and Kory Kinal on his way to victory.

Monster Truck Round-Up headed to the American Legion Fairgrounds in Cambria County, Pennsylvania for the first time and raced a turning course on the tight front stretch for the first time since 1992! Justin Perkins won for the homestate crowd on Saturday afternoon while Brandon Derrow picked up his 2nd win of the season later that night. The Round-Up team will be in Allentown, Pennsylvania at the end of the month.

===== HÖGSÄTER, SWEDEN =====

6/6 Sat Aft: ÖRJAN HENRIKSSON [Yellow Cab] defeated Kewin Harrysson [Oden]

6/7 Sun Aft: JOHAN SCHAGERHOLM [Sonic] defeated Philip Johansson [Hurricane]

Monsterrace kicked off their 2026 season with exciting racing in Hogsater. Defending champion Orjan Henriksson won day one and made it look as effortless as he did all last season. Kewin Harrysson in the 66-inched Oden looked strong this weekend with two podium finishes. On Sunday, the Yellow Cab was running underpowered after destroying the supercharger in the Saturday finals, but still managed a 4th place finish. But those engine problems opened the door for Johan Schagerholm—one of the new owners of the re-branded Sonic truck, formerly Reckless—to pick up his first win despite having to drive through front suspension damage all weekend long.

===== MIAMI, OK =====

6/5 Fri Ngt: CHARLIE PAUKEN III [The Haymaker] defeated Devin Jones [Barbarian Road Rage]

6/6 Sat Ngt: JON ZIMMER JR [Terminal Velocity] defeated Triton Robbins [Krazy Train]

MAP Motorsports returned for another year to the historic Miami Fairgrounds in Oklahoma for one of the biggest independent events of the season. This year’s course was another large Chicago-style layout with 2 turns and 5 jumps. Triton Robbins knocked out 3rd-ranked Jon Zimmer Jr in the first round on Friday night. Jon Zimmer Sr, Preston Collins, and Preston Perez also faced surprising first round eliminations, which shows how tough the racing field was this year.

Chuckie Pauken knocked-out Zack Garner and Triton Robbins on his way to the finals where he met up with hometown hero Devin Jones in the dual-painted Barbarian/Road Rage truck. Jones had the hammer down off the start, but a subtle bounced off the second jump caused the truck to roll-over as he entered the first time, which handed the win to Pauken in The Haymaker.

Saturday was a muddy mess after heavy rains moved through the region. With totally different track conditions, drivers had to adapt quickly. Jon Zimmer Jr stayed aggressive through the turns despite the mud and knocked off Friday winner Pauken in the first round. Triton Robbins remained fast all weekend in both wet and dry conditions and raced his was into the final round against Monster Jam tour rival Zimmer. In a close finish, Zimmer in Terminal Velocity pulled off the win, giving him a 13-9 record against Robbins this season and his 2nd racing win in Miami.

===== OSHAWA, ON =====

6/6 Sat Aft: MIKE WORSLEY [Outfoxed] defeated Kevin Lubsen [Bucking Bronco]

6/5 Fri Ngt: JOHNNY DAVENPORT [Ghost Ryder] defeated Chris Davis [Fire Hazzard]

6/6 Sat Ngt: DILLON FENLEY [King Krunch] defeated Chris Davis [Fire Hazzard]

Johnny Davenport finally got past Dillon Fenley in the King Krunch, winning by inches in the first round of the Monster Trucks Maniac tour in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. That brought an end to Fenley’s incredible 12-race winning streak, but he started a new one the next race with his win over Chris Davis in the finals.

===== SAINT CATHERINES, ON =====

6/6 Sat Aft: MAT BRIAND [Train Wreck] defeated Pat Paquet [Psycho Pat]

Mat Briand won the concrete holeshot racing with the Edge Monster Madness tour last week in London, Ontario, but this weekend in Saint Catherines he also had to face off against the hard-charging Pat Paquet who had been in 7-consecutive final rounds. But Briand was up to the challenge and picked up another win.

6/6 Sat Ngt: MICHAEL VATERS II [Overkill Evolution] defeated Chris DeHoyos [Higher Education]

===== SWEDESBORO, NJ =====

6/6 Sat Aft: JORDAN FISHER [Air Mail] defeated Dawn Creten [Scarlet Bandit]

6/6 Sat Ngt: DAWN CRETEN [Scarlet Bandit] defeated Jeremiah Paras [Bounty Hunter]

With two 2X Live Tours happening this weekend, the usual Creten crew got split up and added new competitors to the bracket. For the eastern tour, it was The Metal Shop coming up from Delaware to compete against the Kansans. Jordan Fisher opened the weekend with a win over veteran Dawn Creten. Dawn beat Ryan Disharoon in the first round both nights and went on to win the evening final against Jeremiah Paras. Jeremiah advanced to the finals in event 2 despite breaking an axle before the final turn. They appeared to get it repaired for the finals, but it wasn’t enough to top Dawn who scored her 8th win of the season.
