===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR SEPTEMBER 15^th – 20^th, 2026 =====

Only one weekend remains in the 2026 Open Championship and Jon Zimmer Jr has an even bigger lead than last week despite a semi-final loss in Saint Ignace. Championship challenger Tyler Menninga also had a surprising semi-final round loss in Seattle after clipping the turning ramp.

Montana Robbins won 4 of 5 races against tough competition at the historic Rosemont Horizon in Illinois and has jumped ahead of brother Triton in the standings!  In Seattle, Camden Murphy won his 3^rd consecutive Monster Jam event and while driving his 3^rd different truck: Power Rush, Sparkle Smash, and now The Amazing Spider-man!

The Fall Jamboree once again saw Hall brothers winning everything, but this year it was Tim Hall Jr and Travis Hall taking most of the spots. Former Jamboree champion Mark Hall finish the weekend with a win on Sunday.

This weekend also saw the 32^nd Annual Fall Nationals in Woodstock, Georgia; the All Out tour running a big St Louis style track in Dresden; Donald Epidendio winning his 20^th race of the season in Chico; and lots more all detailed below!

9/18 Fri Ngt: DONALD EPIDENDIO [Titan] defeated Bill Payne [Rock Star]

9/19 Sat Ngt: DONALD EPIDENDIO [Titan] defeated Sam Steinhauer [Elbows Up]

Donald Epidendio reaches 20 wins for the first time since 2023 after sweeping the two Malicious Tour races in Chico. The Titan has been in the finals in 30 of his 31 events this year and will finish the season in the Top 5 for the first time. Bill Payne is 254 points ahead of Epidendio in the standings and was in his industry-leading 51^st final on Friday night. Rookie Sam Steinhaur made his first career final round on Saturday in a breakage-filled bracket. He came back as fast loser and beat Myles Parker in Identity Theft in the semis. The Malicious Tour ends the 2026 Open season this weekend in Placerville, California.

9/18 Fri Ngt: TIM HALL JR [Jurassic Attack] defeated Travis Hall [Velociraptor]

9/19 Sat Aft: TRAVIS HALL [Velociraptor] defeated Tim Hall Jr [Jurassic Attack]

9/20 Sun Aft: MARK HALL [Raminator] defeated Tim Hall Jr [Jurassic Attack]

The Fall Jamboree in Indiana saw fast racing from six great trucks. As usual, we saw the Hall brothers in the finals but this year it was a different pair of Hall brothers for most of the weekend. Tim and Travis Hall split wins over the first two days. Both gained spots in the Open rankings. Travis picked up his 3^rd win of the season and Tim won his 13^th. On Sunday, it was former multi-time Jamboree champion Mark Hall taking the win and continues to show what makes him one of the greatest racers in the sports’ history.

9/19 Sat Mrn: KEVIN LUBSEN [Bucking Bronco] defeated Jim Pigeon [Outfoxed]

9/19 Sat Aft: KEVIN LUBSEN [Bucking Bronco] defeated Sharon Lubsen [Roboshark]

The All Out tour used up the entire grass infield to run a giant St Louis-style course in Dresden. Kevin Lubsen took Bucking Bronco to the win at both events on the long course, his 6^th and 7^th wins of the season.

Paul Craighead won again on the Monster X Tour, beating out Jerrod Compton in Dryer Money during the Saturday night race in Gardnerville. We still need results from the afternoon race.

Jordan Healey got an upset win over Crushstation in the opening round in Jamestown, but the veteran Greg Winchenbach worked his way back in through the fast loser spot to sweep the racing weekend with the Versus Tour. The head-to-head U-turn track was fast and high-flying for the six trucks. Steven Thompson was runner-up both times, and both he and Winchenbach gained 3 spots in this week’s rankings.

===== LOGAN, OH =====

9/15 Tue Ngt: ROGER GAUGER [Bigfoot] defeated Jared Smith [Maximus]

The Full Throttle Monster Truck Tour has been growing every year and these visited the Hocking County Fair for the first time on Tuesday night. Roger Gauger took Bigfoot to the racing win for the Ohio fans, giving him 12 wins this season, which is his most since winning 16 in 2023.

9/19 Sat Ngt: RICHARD BERNIER [Hellion] defeated Mat Briand [Train Wreck]

Richard Bernier won both nights of racing in London, Ontario as Edge Motorsports completed their 2^nd weekend at the Western Fair. We still need results from the second night of action, but video shows that Bernier beat out Justin Perkins in Backdraft in the finals.

The fans in Manassas always pack the stands when the Monster Truck Wars come to town. We still need the Saturday brackets, but it was Kaley Engstrom winning her 25^th event of the season!

Daniel Aimes won his first two races of the season, taking both brackets with the Nitro Tour in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Shane Grunseth had Metal Monster in the finals both events, which was his 3^rd consecutive trip to the final rounds.

Tim Manchester had a great weekend with the Insanity Tour in Wyoming, sweeping the weekend and picking up back-to-back wins for the first time this season. He gains 8 spots in the rankings.

Montana Robbins has been on a hot streak since his semi-final round appearance in Foxborough at the end of July. He just flew out of the historic Rosemont Horizon with 4 wins in 5 races against the third-toughest field of the weekend. He now had 17 wins this season and has just passed brother Triton in the Open Standings. Both brothers are in the Top Ten in Total Points this season.

===== SAINT IGNACE, MI =====

9/19 Sat Aft: CHARLIE PAUKEN III [The Haymaker] defeated Jon Zimmer Sr [Uproar]

Chuckie Pauken was soaring at the Kewadin Casino and won for the 9^th time. He beat out Jon Zimmer in the finals after Zimmer raced past his son Jon Jr in the semis. While the early loss was surely disappointing for the Terminal Velocity driver, he remains comfortably in first place in the Open Championship rankings with only 1 week remaining.

===== SALT LAKE CITY, UT =====

9/20 Sun Ngt: AARON BASL [Night Life] defeated Jacob Ladwig [Rat Attack]

The racing weekend closed out at the Utah State Fair with six trucks in Chicago-style racing. Aaron Basl got past Tim Manchester—who entered the night on a two race winning streak—in both the first and second rounds before a narrow win over Jacob Ladwig in the finals in their first head-to-head race of the season.

===== SEATTLE, WA =====

9/19 Sat Ngt: CAMDEN MURPHY [The Amazing Spider-Man] defeated Cynthia Gauthier [Lucas Stabilizer]

Camden Murphy ends the 2026 Open Championship season with 3 consecutive Monster Jam wins behind the wheel of 3 different trucks! He won in Foxborough driving Power Rush, then won in Newark driving Sparkle Smash while filing in for Jamie Sullivan, and now has won in Seattle driving The Amazing Spider-man. Cynthia Gauthier took advantage of a turning error from reigning Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion Tyler Menninga to advance to her 4^th final of the year.

9/19 Sat Mrn: ROD SCHMIDT [Redneck Rampage] defeated Logan Vessels [Dirt Crew]

9/19 Sat Aft: LOGAN VESSELS [Dirt Crew] defeated Daron Basl [Block Head]

The All Stars faced a super slick track on Saturday morning in Spencer, Iowa. Logan Vessels was the fast qualifier, but it was Rod Schmidt in Redneck Rampage coming through with the racing win, tip-toeing through the turns before turning on the power down the stretches on the Chicago-style track. The dirt was a bit dryer in the evening and Logan Vessels was able to better his runner-up finish in the afternoon with his 4^th win after Daron Basl blasted over the turning pole, resulting in a disqualification. Vessels joins the rankings in 80^th place this week.  

===== STERLING, CO =====

9/19 Sat Ngt: TRIPP JONES [Smashosaurus] defeated Eric Swanson [Obsessed]

Tripp Jones won for the 4^th time in 20 races and joins the Open Rankings in 84^th place this week. He and Eric Swanson met for the first time this season in the finals with Jones taking the win.

For the third time in a row, it was Kory Kinal and Jeremiah Paras in the finals on the 2X Tour. While they split this weekend in Summertown, Paras has won 4 of their last 5 final round meetings and has evened their final round series a 5 wins each.

Dillon Fenley was back on top with the Monster Trucks Maniac tour in Mississippi, taking both wins over Chris Davis on the tight Chicago-style course.

Paul Craighead improved to 22 wins on the season (and added 1 more on Saturday) to gain 3 spots in the rankings and join the Top 50. He continues to be the top racer on the X Tour this season.

Colton Fowler roared past Jeff Murphy in Shark Attack to claim both brackets on a very tight drag racing course in Whitney Point, New York. That gives him 14 wins overall and puts him up 1 spot in the rankings.

9/18 Fri Ngt: JOHN GORDON [Bad Company] defeated Jim Koehler [Avenger]

9/19 Sat Ngt: JIM KOEHLER [Avenger] defeated Jon Koehler [Brutus]

Last but not least was the 32^nd annual Monster Truck Fall Nationals at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. Jim Koehler finished with a win and runner-up finish on the big Chicago-style track, losing out only to John Gordon in the Friday night finals. Gordon’s win was his 3^rd in a row in Woodstock after he swept the event last season.
