===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JULY 8th – 15th, 2025 =====
Fair season is in full swing with events stretching out through nearly all 7 days of the week. The Full Throttle Tour ran 5 events in 2 days this week! Both Chris and Bryant Rogers took wins on that tour including eliminating Team Bigfoot on their way to victory lane.
In Bloomsburg, Mark Hall dominated the weekend with 3 consecutive wins. He has been in the final round in all 6 events of the Monsters of Destruction era in Bloomsburg.
In Canfield, Nick Pagliarulo was the only one to figure out the very tricky drag racing track at the Outlaw Drags. Jacob Gallie meanwhile was the dominate drag racer at Chuck Jam in Sacramento.
Throwdown saw a huge upset as Mason Rife—who was a dominant racer with Monster Truck Wars this winter—upset Jon Zimmer Jr in the Saturday racing finals! Throwdown also had a fast and exciting S-Course in Maple Park, Illinois where Tripp Jones picked up his first racing win!
Thank you to everyone who has helped us with reporting events this week: Greg Winchenbach, J.r. Rouse, Pat Paquet, Nate Bay, Max Gillie, Daniel Clark, Lee Collins, Matt Stoltz, Bryan Anger, John Brown, Chuck Plumlee, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

7/12 Sat Ngt: NO POINTS; This event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
7/13 Sun Aft: MARK HALL [Raminator] defeated Colton Kiser [High Roller III]
Mark Hall has always been a strong racer and that was especially true on the old Jamboree series. Since Monsters of Destruction took over the promotion last year, the two-time Open Champion has returned to his old ways. Hall was in the finals all 3 days last year in Bloomsburg with 1 win. He did even better this year with 3 more final round trips and a clean sweep of racing brackets. Colton Kiser has a great weekend, too, with two final round appearances. Mark Hall moved up 3 spots in the rankings.
===== CANFIELD, OH =====
7/12 Sat Aft: NICK PAGLIARULO [Kraken] defeated Michael Pagliarulo [Excaliber]
The Outlaw Drags track this year had some steep and challenging jumps that required a steady and controlled approach to the drag racing track. Tomfoolery Motorsports led the way and swept the podium positions. Qualifying was rough on parts with only 5 of the 8 trucks advancing into the head-to-head rounds. There, Nick Pagliarulo pulled away from the field for a convincing win on the tough track.
===== CLIO, MI =====
This Nitro Tour event did include at least one race between Country Strong and American Outlaw (we’re not sure who won) but with only 3 trucks scheduled to race, this one did not count for points.
===== CROWNSVILLE, MD =====
This Renegade Monster Truck Tour event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== EVANSVILLE, IN =====
This Summer Smash event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded. Once again, the Summer Smash folks waste the assembly of 18 (EIGHTEEN!) awesome independent trucks by not including racing in the program. Here’s hoping that next year will see the return of drag racing at the Summer Smash because there could be some huge points available to the drivers.
===== GODDELLS, MI =====
This 4-H County Fair event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== GREENVILLE, SC =====
This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== HEPWORTH, ON =====
7/12 Sat Aft: JESSE COMO [Bucking Bronco] defeated Mike Worsley [Robo Shark]
7/12 Sat Ngt: MIKE WORSLEY [Robo Shark] defeated Sharon Lubsen [Canadian Crusher]
Jesse Como picked up his first racing win of the season in Saturday afternoon with the All Out Tour. He advanced to the finals later that night, but breakage kept him on the sidelines and prevented a rematch with Mike Worsley who went on to win his 2nd win of the season.
===== IONIA, MI =====
7/11 Fri Ngt: We do not have results from this event
7/12 Sat Ngt: MASON RIFE [Psycho Circus] defeated Jon Zimmer Jr [Terminal Velocity]
We still need Friday night results from the Throwdown racing in Ionia, and we really want to see if there were any upsets like the one on Saturday night. Mason Rife in Psycho Circus took down Jon Zimmer Jr—fresh off his appearance at the Monster Jam World Finals—in the head-to-head drag racing finals. That’s Rife’s 17th win of the season, as he was a regular finalist on the Monster Truck Wars tour earlier this year.
===== LACHUTE, QC =====
This Lachute Expo event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== LLOYDMINSTER, SK =====
This Monsters & Mayhem event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== MAPLE PARK, IL =====
7/12 Sat Ngt: TRIPP JONES [Smashosaurus] defeated Tim Jones [Tailgator]
7/13 Sun Ngt: DAVID OLFERT [Dirt Crew Dozer] defeated Jared Smith [Maximus]
Throwdown gave us a great big S-course at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois that once again featured the trucks starting outside the retaining wall and jumping into Turn 3. Saturday night had a slick track which made the first inside turn a real struggle. The finals saw a father-son final with second-generation driver Tripp Jones in Smashosaurus winning by a lot to take his first win of the season.
With a drier track on Sunday, veteran David Olfer bulldozed the competition before meeting with reigning George Carpenter Cup champion Jared Smith in the finals. It was the 4th time these two have met this season and Olfert remains undefeated at 4-0 and now has 3 wins.
===== MEXICO CITY, MEXICO =====
This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== NEW ORLEANS, LA =====
This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== OAK HARBOR, OH =====
7/15 Tue Ngt: ROGER GAUGER [Bigfoot] defeated JR Seasock [Play'n Hookie]
The Full Throttle Tour has had a mad schedule this week with 5 events in TWO days! The only one counted this week was in Oak Harbor where Roger Gauger picked up his 6th win. The tour really picked up on Wednesday with events in La Grange, KY; Owensboro, KY; and Carrollton, OH which will be scored for next week’s update.
===== SACRAMENTO, CA =====
7/13 Sun Aft: JACOB GALLIE [Wicked Strong] defeated Shane Plato [Skull Krusher]
7/13 Sun Ngt: JACOB GALLIE [Wicked Strong] defeated Shane Plato [Skull Krusher]
Chuck Jam went drag racing at the California State Fair and Jacob Gallie swept the Sunday races, which matches the two wins that brother Brandon Gallie has this year, too. Shane Plato was runner-up both times and has been in the finals 7 times this year.
===== SAINT PAUL, MN =====
This Monster Jam Arena event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded
===== SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO =====
This D’Car Fest event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded.
We don’t know who drove Rhino and Buffalo Soldier at this event. Let us know if you do!
===== SWIFT CURRENT, SK =====
7/12 Sat Ngt: JARED VOGEL [Crude Behavior] defeated Jason Court [Roughneck]
7/13 Sun Ngt: JARED VOGEL [Crude Behavior] defeated Devin Tardif [Sheer Insanity]
Jared Vogel has been having a strong year in the new-look Crude Behavior. He’s won 3 consecutive races over the past 2 months and has scored points in all 8 of his events this year. Devin Tardif was in action for the first time since August last year and made it to his 3rd final round in Open Championship competition.
===== TERRE HAUTE, IN =====
7/11 Fri Ngt: CHRIS ROGERS [Hoosier Daddy] defeated Jasmin Borders [Clumsy Monkey]
Chris Rogers upset Thomas Borders in Bigfoot in the semi-finals of racing in Terre Haute before beating fast-loser Jasmin Borders in the finals to claim his first racing win of the season.
===== TOOLE, UT =====
7/11 Fri Ngt: JACOB LADWIG [Rat Attack] defeated Aaron Basl [Night Life]
7/12 Sat Ngt: RYAN ROBINSON [Monster Moose] defeated Aaron Basl [Night Life]
The brackets in Tooele were a bit messy but there was enough sense for us to score it as a four-truck bracket. Tyler Groth in Veteran gets the short-straw as his 3 heat wins unfortunately were outside of the bracket for some reason, so he won’t get any points for them. Aaron Basl was runner-up both nights, competing in his 26th final round of the season, and gaining 6 spots in the rankings.
Jacob Ladwig has won plenty this year (19 times now) but Ryan Robinson finally gets his first scored win of the season (and 2nd overall) when Basl spun himself out in the first turn on the Saturday final round.
===== TROY, MO =====
7/10 Thu Ngt: BRYANT ROGERS [Relentless] defeated Roger Gauger [Bigfoot]
One night before Chris Roger beating Bigfoot for his first racing win of the season, Bryant Rogers took out the other team Bigfoot driver—Roger Gauger—to claim his 2nd win of the season. Rogers used the fast loser position on the two-jump track to return to the field and beat Jared Smith in Maximus before besting Bigfoot in the finals. Gauger still leads their head-to-head racing 3-2 this year.
===== WARSAW, IN =====
No results from Warsaw unfortunately. We hear that Greg Winchenbach blew an engine in the Tuesday final round against Joe Foley in Axe. If you have brackets from either event, there’s still time to send them in!
