Congratulations to WESTON ANDERSON for his 4th place finish in the 2025 Monster Truck Racing Open Championship! This is his best career finish in 4 years of driver and improves on his 9th place finish from last year. His 25 wins are also a career best and 13,615 points are not only a career best but also the most points by any driver this season!
Weston beat out Open Champion Coty Saucier 17-15 in head-to-head races this year, but was a little less consistent that the eventual champ when it came to earning points, which is why the two ended up in the positions they did. Running on the Monster Jam Stadium West tour, Anderson won three-consecutive races twice (first in Wichita, Kansas; then in Albuquerque, New Mexico). He advanced to the final round at least once in all of the tour’s 16 stops and did the same for his four late-season stops in Newark, Savannah, Rosemont, and Tacoma.
He earned more points that any driver this season and could have had even more since 26 of his events were timed racing without points available. He was never outside of the Top Ten all season long. He is already one of the most-talented drivers on the Arena Series and keeps getting better each season, so we’re excited to see if Weston can be the next Anderson to claim the Open Championship as we head into the 2026 season.
