===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR OCTOBER 23rd – 25th, 2026 =====
Tristan England was smooth through the turns in Syracuse to pick up his first win of the 2027 Open Championship. Triton Robbins was runner-up on the big tour after winning twice already this season with the All Stars.
Dalton Widner was the last man standing at the annual MAP Nationals in Wheatland—literally. After his semi-finals win, Widner and Over Bored were the only truck able to continue and he was given a bye run win in the finals. Widner earned his way to victory by taking out reigning Open Champion Jon Zimmer Jr in the first round, ending Zimmer’s bid to win the Wheatland event for a third year in a row.
Eric and Meesha Swanson raced in the finals on their wedding anniversary last week with Eric taking the win. They met again in the finals this weekend in Redmond and this time Meesha came out on top.
This weekend also saw Ceejay Rettew, Devin Jones, and Paul Craighead each pick up two win sweeps; Cliff Vowell schooled the field in Elkin, North Carolina on a track that featured a school bus jump right off the starting line; and Kory Kinal end Jeremiah Paras’ winning streak on a wild track in Ocala that included a mid-race 360-spin!
Thank you to everyone who has helped us with reporting events this week: Dillon Fenley, John Brown, Nick Jones, Kaley Engstrom, Nick Wishard, Ceejay Rettew, Lee Collins, Mike Bevacqua, Nate Bay, J.r. Rouse, Brandon Pezo, Gabe Montoya, David Rife, Paul Craighead, Phil Vicinanza and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

===== OCALA, FL =====
10/24 Sat Aft: KORY KINAL [Jekyll & Hyde] defeated Jeremiah Paras [King Sling]
10/24 Sat Ngt: JEREMIAH PARAS [King Sling] defeated Cliff Thomas [Brutal]
The 2X Live team always runs a unique track at their event in Ocala and this weekend saw two variations. On night one, the trucks raced perpendicularly through the infield towards the front stretch, then had to complete a full 360-degree turn around a tractor tire, before finishing head-to-head on the front stretch. Kory Kinal negotiated that challenging track the best and ended Jeremiah Paras’s two-race winning streak.
For the night race, the 360-degree turn was removed and instead the track ended with a half-lap Chicago-style course on the front stretch. Afternoon winner Kory Kinal was out with breakage, and Kenneth Bell in the new Ain’t Bee Havin’ also missed racing. In the end, Jeremiah Paras took the win, giving him 3 wins in 4 races over the past 2 weeks.

===== SYRACUSE, NY =====
10/24 Sat Ngt: TRISTAN ENGLAND [JCB DIGatron] defeated Triton Robbins [Krazy Train]
Tristan England picked up his first racing win of the 2027 Open season with a strong performance in Syracuse. England was able to artfully use the rear steering to keep his truck settled in the final turn of the left lane after the tacky track bit several other racers. ===== WHEATLAND, MO =====
10/24 Sat Eve: DALTON WIDNER [Over Bored] defeated Tim Jones [Tailgator]
The MAP Outlaw Nationals ran a huge H-shaped course at the annual Wheatland, Missouri event. The trucks started facing each other on the front and back stretch, negotiated an S-course through the infield included a banked turn at the center of the speedway, switched to the opposite stretch, then completed another turn through the infield before finishing back on their own side of the track! That long, winding course was a big test for both driver and machine. That was true in the final round as Dalton Widner in Over Bored was awarded the racing win on a bye run since semi-final Tail Gator could not return nor could the other semi-finalists.
Widner was runner-up at this event back in 2023. Reigning Open Champion Jon Zimmer Jr was looking to win this event for the 3rd consecutive year, but was put out by Widner in the first round.
