===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR MAY 3rd – 5th, 2024 =====

Last year’s Monster Jam World Finals championship was decided on the starting line when Camden Murphy’s transmission gave out and Tristan England raced away for the win. Both drivers are looking strong heading into the World Finals in Los Angeles this year on May 18th. England just won in Philadelphia with head-to-head victories over last year’s Open Champion Tyler Menninga and last year’s Open Runner-up Coty Saucier. Camden Murphy meanwhile has won his last THREE Stadium events and is coming into the World Finals red hot.

Jerry Beck won the Toughest Monster Truck Tour series championship in Grand Forks thanks to a strong freestyle run, but Tyler Groth in The Veteran took home the racing win and all the points for the Open Championship.

We had a lot of back-to-back winners this weekend: Rob Poutre, Jon Zimmer Jr, Jack Monkhouse, Bill Payne, Preston Collins, Jacob Ladwig, Weston Anderson, and Dalton Widner. For Widner, those two wins give him 28 on the year which is the most of all drivers.

Thank you to everyone who reported results to us this weekend: Levi Schones, Dallas Glenn-Rogers, Bryan Wagner, Nate Bay, John S Brown, Gabe Montoya, Aaron Basl, Preston Collins, Kaden Allen, Sean Green, Zane Rettew, Preston Perez, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!
