Congratulations to TRITON ROBBINS for his 8th place finish in the 2025 Monster Truck Racing Open Championship! Triton has been a strong racer on the independent circuits and has was ranked as high as 20th in 2022, but this season he joined the highly-ranked Monster Jam Arena Central series which let him rack up 10199 points and 24 wins in 57 events.
This was a real break-out year for Triton Robbins. Although he did not win the Arena Central Tour championship, he can lay claim to being the best racer on the tour. He won 18 of the 42 races which was more than any other driver on tour. He finished 15-5 against Jon Zimmer Jr; 13-6 against Matt Cody; 15-4 against brother Montana; 13-4 against Jon Zimmer Sr; 9-5 against Jamie Sullivan; 7-2 against Fernando Martinez; and 9-0 against Angelina Nock.
The season started slowly for Triton. He won once in both Nashville and Milwaukee, but also had 3 first round loses. It took him 8 races and 5 semi-final round losses to reach the finals again in Brooklyn where he won his 4th race of the Open season. But just like a real train, once the Krazy Train got moving there was no slowing him down. He had back-to-back wins in Worcester and Little Rock to close out February, then made the finals 4-of-5 times in Rosemont with 2 wins on Sunday. After a long time with only timed racing, he came back in Green Bay and Hartford with an amazing five-race winning streak—the only time it was done on the Central Tour this season. Then back-to-back wins in Hampton, Virginia. A three-race win streak in Southaven, Mississippi. And one more in Moline. Triton won 13 of the final 21 Tour events beginning in March!
Summer brought about some independent events for the Krazy Train team and some more points. He won with the All Stars at their toughest event in North East, Pennsylvania. He won both of the Monsters-n-Megas event near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and won the afternoon race at historic Lebanon Valley Speedway in New York. And on a runner-up finish in Fowlerville with Throwdown and a win in Hamburg, New York and Triton ends up with the 7th-most points of all drivers this year.
Next year will be a real chance for Triton to show his stuff as he’ll be back with Monster Jam and touring with the defending Open Champion Coty Saucier. With one year under his belt, we’re excited to see if the Krazy Train can put together another 5-race winning streak against the new competition. Congrats to Triton Robbins on a successful first campaign with Monster Jam and his first Top Ten finish in the Open Championship!
