===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR MAY 15th – 17th, 2026 =====

Ryan Disharoon won 3 of 4 final rounds on the big sand jumps in Virginia Beach on his way to winning the George Carpenter Cup for 2026. The Shaker stormed down the beach all weekend long, winning many close races, but losing only once on Saturday afternoon. Chuckie Pauken was runner-up 3 times and gained several spot in the rankings.

Joe Foley and Team Scream joined the All Out Tour in Navan, Ontario this weekend and he won 2 of the 3 holeshot races with teammate Jon Koehler winning the middle match.

On the Monster Truck Wars tour, Shark Attack teammates Kaley Engstrom and Jerry Furajter are both in the 20 Win Club after Furajter won 3 of 4 during a busy weekend in Queen Creek, Arizona. Engstrom won her 22nd on Saturday night and leads Furjater by 1 win.

Brandon Arthur continues his impressive but low key racing dominance with another International win, this time in Cardiff. Thomas Borders gave Team Bigfoot the win at the Monster Truck Museum’s spring race. Stanley Hernandez in Werewolf broke his 0-6 final round streak, winning by a whisker in Santa Rosa over Paul Craighead in Bear Foot. The Insanity Tour had great racing in Idaho Falls where Leroy Latham and David Tucker each picked up wins.

That’s not all that happened, though, so keep reading below to hear about the other racing action from this weekend!

===== BLACK CREEK, BC =====

5/16 Sat Aft: GAVIN SELL [Mixed Up] defeated Marvin Anderson [Identity Theft]

5/16 Sat Ngt: We do not have results from this event

5/17 Sun Aft: We do not have results from this event

The Malicious Tour raced on the asphalt front stretch of Saratoga Speedway in a tight Chicago-style layout. The tight quarters were unforgiving for drivers who got crossed up, including top series racer Bill Payne who lost in the first round after getting tripped up by one of the jump. Gavin Sell in the Mixed Up concrete mixer also had problems in the first round, but returned as fast loser and advanced to a rematch against Marvin Anderson. Sell learned from his first round mistake and won a close race for his first bracket win of the season!

We still need the racing results from the final two events of the weekend, so if you have any information, please share!

===== BUTLER, IN =====

5/16 Sat Aft: THOMAS BORDERS [Bigfoot] defeated Jasmin Borders [Raybestos Powertrain]

The International Monster Truck Hall of Fame held their annual spring time event this past weekend. The bracket saw some rare entries as Blue Ox and One Bad Hombre lined up to compete against the regular racers. In the finals, though, Thomas Borders in Bigfoot took the win on the 2-jump drag track.

===== CARDIFF, ENGLAND =====

5/16 Sat Aft: BRANDON ARTHUR [Earth Shaker] defeated Charlie Pauken [Grave Digger]

Brandon Arthur continues his dominate racing performance on the Monster Jam International Tour as he takes out veteran Charlie Pauken in the final round in Cardiff. With now 12 wins this season, Arthur moves up 4 spots into 18th place overall.

===== CHARLESTON, IL =====

5/16 Sat Ngt: COLTON KISER [American Scout] defeated Chris Rogers [Relentless]

The Full Throttle tour continued their summer season with Chicago-style racing in Charleston, Illinois. Former series champion Roger Gauger in Bigfoot seemed to be having trouble with the blue Ford this weekend and was out in round one. The finals saw Colton Kiser win for the first time since January 9th.

===== CONROE, TX =====

5/16 Sat Aft: BRANDON PEZO [Outlaw] defeated Kaley Engstrom [Shark Attack]

5/16 Sat Ngt: KALEY ENGSTROM [Shark Attack] defeated Brandon Pezo [Outlaw]

Brandon Pezo gained 4 spots in the MTROC rankings with his 8th win and 21st final round appearance of the season during the two races in Conroe, Texas with Monster Truck Wars. He faced off with Kaley Engstrom both times. For Kaley, the evening win was #22 for her this season, putting her tied for 2nd most in the sport this season.

===== CRYSTAL, MI =====

5/17 Sun Aft: JACOB LADWIG [Rat Attack] defeated Elliott Miller [Frontier Truck Parts]

Monster Truck Throwdown had some fast, intense racing on the reverse roundy-round course in Michigan this weekend. Jacob Ladwig set the fast qualifying time and dispatched of fast loser Psycho Circus to advance to his 19th final round this season. Elliott Miller in Frontier Truck Parts was the man who gave Psycho Circus that first round loss. He then upset Monster Jam Arena Series champion Jon Zimmer Jr in the semi-finals when Zimmer oversteered the first turn. In the finals, however, Miller himself had problems in the final turn that actually let the always-fast Ladwig drive around him for the win. The Rat Attack moved up 5 spots this weekend to reach 28th overall.

===== DICKSON, TN =====

5/15 Fri Ngt: We do not have results from this event

5/16 Sat Aft: We do not have results from this event

5/16 Sat Ngt: BRANDON DERROW [Bad News Travels Fast] defeated Shane Grunseth [Metal Monster]

The Monster Truck Bash crew had three big crowds in Dickson, Tennessee for fast two-jump drag racing. Of particular note was the Saturday night semi-final between Bad News Travels Fast and Godzilla which saw both drivers flying over the first jump and not landing until they were at the start of the second jump. The fans saw an exciting final, too, with Brandon Derrow posting his first win of the season.

===== FRANKLIN, PA =====

5/16 Sat Aft: PRESTON COLLINS [Jurassic Attack] defeated Preston Pérez [Velociraptor]

5/16 Sat Ngt: PRESTON PÉREZ [Velociraptor] defeated Steven Thompson [Hurricane Force]

The Renegade Tour went up to northwestern Pennsylvania to the Tri-City Raceway this weekend and used up all of the large, open infield with St Louis style racing. Or they did until afternoon rains forced them to change up the track to J-hook racing for the evening. But weather aside, the drivers were running hard all day.

Preston Perez was first to the finish line during the afternoon race against teammate Preston Collins, but was given a penalty for an apparent ramp violation, so Collins was given the win. Worse yet, the Velociraptor lost the transmission at the end of the race. But Perez was back and running strong in the evening where he picked up the win over Steven Thompson. That’s Preston’s 3rd win of the season and has him join the rankings in 50th.

===== FRESNO, CA =====

This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

5/16 Sat Aft: GABE MONTOYA [The Felon] defeated Christian Poutre [Geronimo]

5/16 Sat Ngt: GABE MONTOYA [The Felon] defeated Christian Poutre [Geronimo]

Checkered Flag Productions was back in action this weekend in Grants, New Mexico. Riley Hogue was called upon to enter the Crusher ride truck into the racing bracket, but the racers came out on top with Gabe Montoya taking both events over Christian Poutre, who was driving Geronimo for the first time. This crew heads to Globe, Arizona next weekend for the debut event of the Epic Monster Truck Tour in conjunction with CFP’s No Limits Tour.

===== IDAHO FALLS, ID =====

5/15 Fri Ngt: LEROY LATHAM [Midnight Panic] defeated Caden Morris [Dragon Slayer]

5/16 Sat Ngt: DAVID TUCKER [Next Level] defeated Kreg Christensen [Farmageddon]

The Insanity Tour was in Idaho Falls with a full field of five trucks for Chicago-style racing. On Friday night, Leroy Latham picked up his first win of the season and 3rd of his career with Midnight Panic. On Saturday night, David Tucker had Next Level running on kill through the turns and posted a semi-final win over Latham and two wins over veteran Kreg Christensen in Farmageddon.

===== KOKOMO, IN =====

5/16 Sat Aft: DAN DAHLGREN [Shark Bite] defeated Darren Migues [Roarin' Rex]

5/17 Sun Aft: KORY KINAL [Jekyll & Hyde] defeated Jeremiah Paras [Bounty Hunter]

The 2X Tour ran a St Louis variant in Kokomo, with the trucks turning in towards each other but with one truck running on the front stretch and one on the back stretch. Saturday saw some big air and big upsets as the experienced Dan Dahlgren and Darren Migues took out the younger drivers in the first round with Dahlgren taking a close win in the finals. But the Shark was out with breakage on Sunday and it was Kory Kinal coming through with the win to close out the weekend.

5/17 Sun Aft: JOE FOLEY [Axe] defeated Jon Koehler [Robo Shark]

Team Scream roared into Ontario to join the All Out Tour this weekend. The performance area was an interesting trapezoid kind of shape that forced the grounds crew to get creative with their obstacle placements for freestyle. Racing was more straight-forward with another holeshot track. Jimmy Pigeon had an upset win over Joe Foley on Saturday afternoon, but that was Foley’s only blemish on the weekend as he won the other two brackets. Jon Koehler picked up the middle win, giving Team Scream a clean sweep.

===== QUEEN CREEK, AZ =====

5/16 Sat Aft: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Devin Jones [T-Rex]

5/16 Sat Ngt: DEVIN JONES [T-Rex] defeated Jerry Furajter [Shark Attack]

5/17 Sun Aft: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Devin Jones [T-Rex]

5/17 Sun Ngt: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Adam Wilson [Outlaw]

It was a busy weekend for Monster Truck Wars in Queen Creek, Arizona with four races in only two days. Jerry Furajter dominated with Shark Attack once again, and is now up to 21 wins—putting him just 1 win behind Shark teammate Kaley Engstrom on the other Wars tour. Devin Jones was the finalist every race except the last when Adam Wilson charged past him in the semi-finals to advance to his first final round of the season.

===== SANTA ROSA, CA =====

5/16 Sat Aft: PAUL CRAIGHEAD [Bear Foot] defeated Josh Garrity [Rampage]

5/16 Sat Ngt: STANLEY HERNANDEZ [Werewolf] defeated Paul Craighead [Bear Foot]

Paul Craighead picked up another win for Team Bearfoot on the X-Tour on Saturday afternoon giving him 7 wins in a row. The final listed here against Josh Garrity in Rampage never actually happened since Rampage was broke and so Craighead got this win via an automatic bye.

The night final was a whole different story as Stanley Hernandez pushed hard against Craighead in their 14th meeting this season. At the finish line it was too close to call, but upon review the officials said it was Hernandez and Werewolf winning by an inch! That was only his 2nd win over Craighead this season and his 4th win overall, breaking a 0-6 final round streak coming into the weekend.

===== SHAWNEE, OK =====

5/16 Sat Ngt: DILLON FENLEY [King Krunch] defeated Cody Adickes [Crazy Heifer]

The Monster Trucks Maniac crew had a big St Louis style track to work with in Shawnee and once again it was Dillon Fenley coming through with the win. He has 14 wins in 16 races and needs just 4 more reports to join the rankings for this season. Rookie Cody Adickes beat Chris Davis in the first round to advance to the first final round of his career.

===== VIRGINIA BEACH, VA =====

5/15 Fri Ngt: RYAN DISHAROON [Shaker] defeated Charlie Pauken III [The Haymaker]

5/16 Sat Ngt: RYAN DISHAROON [Shaker] defeated Charlie Pauken III [The Haymaker]

5/17 Sun Aft: RYAN DISHAROON [Shaker] defeated Charlie Pauken III [The Haymaker]

Ryan Disharoon is the 2026 George Carpenter Cup Champion after a dominating performance on the Virginia Beach sand. Through 12 rounds of racing, his only loss was to Jordan Fisher on Saturday afternoon. Disharoon was perfect outside of that round. Chuckie Pauken had a frustrating weekend with four loses to Disharoon, including three in the final round. Fortunately, those points still added up and gained Pauken 6 spots in the rankings.
