===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR MARCH 6th – 8th, 2026 =====

David Olfert is the man to beat on the Toughest Tour this year. He swept all 3 racing events in Saginaw, which hasn’t been done since Larry Swim in 2019. The Dirt Crew Dozer driver is higher in the rankings than ever before as he now joins the Top 5.

Adam Anderson had a slow start to the season but is picking up speed after his two-race sweep in Freedom Hall. He has advanced into at least the 3rd round of racing in 11 of his last 12 events.

Thomas and Jasmin Borders each won during the monster truck and tractor pulling double-header in Fort Wayne this weekend. The team debuted their new 3D body for Monkey Business on Saturday and Thomas quickly made it a winner, taking out Bigfoot in the finals.

Team Sparkle Smash had a great weekend with both Loghan Ashline and Jamie Sullivan gaining 11 spots in the rankings. Triton Robbins also moved up a bunch after taking 2 wins in Hampton. Alex Bardin completed his 2nd weekend making the final round 3 times. At historic Garrett Coliseum, Byron Cadigan took both brackets on the X Tour. In Winnemucca, old rivals Bill Payne and Donald Epidendio split the weekend of tight indoor SoCal racing. And Josh Baumgartner put the Mechanical Mischief body back on for the Metal Clash at the Monument and picked up the win.

After grabbing his first win of the season last weekend, Triton Robbins returned with 2 more in Hampton. That gave him one of the biggest bumps of the weekend and has the Krazy Train side the Top 20. His only loss came to reigning Open Champion Coty Saucier on Sunday afternoon, as Robbins was knocked out of Friday’s bracket due to breakage after his first round win.

This weekend was also Loghan Ashline’s career best, as she advanced to two final rounds and one more semi-final appearance which gave her an 11-spot jump in the rankings.

===== LOUISVILLE, KY =====

3/7 Sat Ngt: ADAM ANDERSON [Grave Digger] defeated Jamie Sullivan [Sparkle Smash]

3/8 Sun Aft: ADAM ANDERSON [Grave Digger] defeated Tristan England [JCB DIGatron]

Adam Anderson is getting hot late in the first quarter! After his first win in Minneapolis in early February, he made the semi-finals in his next 6 consecutive Stadium Series events including 1 win and 2 runner-ups. This week in Louisville, he swept both brackets at the historic Freedom Hall, giving him 12 consecutive events with points and has him up to 11th place overall.

Speaking of 11, that’s how many spots Jamie Sullivan gained in the rankings this week. The former Arena Series star hasn’t seen quite the same racing success on the highly competitive Stadium Series, but she scored a runner-up and semi-final appearance this weekend as the Stadium drivers returned to the short track for one weekend.

===== MARTIN, TN =====

3/7 Sat Aft: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Devin Jones [T-Rex]

3/7 Sat Ngt: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Devin Jones [T-Rex]

Jerry Furajter and Devin Jones continue their feud on the Monster Truck Wars tour. They met for at least the 15th time (based on events we have reports for) and Furajter has closed the gap with his sweep in Martin, as their season series now stands at 7-8 in favor of Jones.

===== MONTGOMERY, AL =====

3/7 Sat Ngt: BYRON CADIGAN [Bear Foot] defeated Travis Groth [Double Trouble]

With Monster Jam in Freedom Hall, the Monster X Tour was also racing at an historic TNT Motorsports venue down in Alabama and Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery. Byron Cadigan won both of the races over Travis Groth in Double Trouble, giving him 4 wins this season. That was also his 10th event and so he now joins the rankings in 64th.

===== RAPID CITY, SD =====

3/7 Sat Ngt: JOSH BAUMGARTNER [Mechnical Mischief] defeated Kreg Christensen [Farmageddon]

The annual Metal Clash at the Monument in Rapid City broke a strong field of five trucks out for concrete holeshot racing. Josh Baumgartner exchanged his Bigfoot panels for his traditional Mechanical Mischief look and took the racing win over veteran Kreg Christensen. That’s now 6 consecutive final rounds for Baumgarter, who has a 3-3 record in those finals.

===== ROCKFORD, IL =====

This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded.

===== SAGINAW, MI =====

3/6 Fri Ngt: DAVID OLFERT [Dirt Crew Dozer] defeated Jerry Beck [Dirt Crew]

3/7 Sat Aft: DAVID OLFERT [Dirt Crew Dozer] defeated Jeff Souza [Velociraptor]

3/7 Sat Ngt: DAVID OLFERT [Dirt Crew Dozer] defeated Daron Basl [Block Head]

The Toughest Tour was in Saginaw and for the first time since Larry Swim in 2019 we had one driver sweep the entire weekend. David Olfert has now won 4 brackets in a row on tour and has won 8 of the 12 Toughest events this season. With now 11 wins total this season, he has moved up into the Top 5 in the Open Championship.

This is Olfert’s career best ranking in the Open Championship, surpassing his previous best of 7th back in February of 2024. In previous years, Olfert has moved up the rankings by sheer brute force as he has competed in 60, 70, 80, and even 90 races in a single season; but this year he has the 2nd best Average Points and that has given him the extra help to reach the Top 5.

===== SONORA, CA =====

3/7 Sat Aft: JEREMIAH PARAS [Shark Bite] defeated Austin Minton [Brutal]

3/7 Sat Ngt: JIMMY CRETEN [Extreme King Sling] defeated Kory Kinal [Jekyll & Hyde]

Jeremiah Paras grabbed his first win of the season in a narrow victory over Austin Minton on Saturday afternoon in Sonora. In the night race, Kory Kinal made it to the finals—after a scary run-in with the concrete barriers during the afternoon bracket—but came up short to Jimmy Creten who was filling in for Dennis Anderson in the Extreme King Sling. We’ve seen Anderson cameo in the racing bracket before, but this was the first time Crete has taken King Sling into victory lane.
