===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JUNE 26th – JULY 1st, 2026 =====

Josh Baumgartner was in Winnipeg for his first event with the All Out Tour and he won all three holeshot races in the Roboshark truck. In Pleasanton, California, the MOD Tour had a long five race weekend with Juan Munoz and Vincent Akard splitting 2 races each and Meesha Swanson taking the fifth on Sunday night.

Chuckie Pauken won both All Star races in in Mason. The Full Throttle Team ran a whole bunch of races as their fair season schedule continues to grow. Thomas Borders grabbed another win and David Olfert earned enough points to gain 3 spots in the rankings. Logan Vessels made only his 2nd start of the season in Burlington but ended the weekend with a win and runner-up finish.

The Monster Jam World Finals are happening right now with the main field set to qualifying soon. Triton Robbins has earned 360 Open Championship points by winning the Last Chance Qualifier and will now have a chance to win more points in the main field.

The top 3 ranked drivers are in a three-way tie entering the World Finals and all three will be in the main field bracket with an opportunity to earn major points. Remember that our rankings are based on both Total Points and Average Points, so improvements in either can help a driver move up. Tyler Menninga is 7th in Total (7665) but 1st in Average (294.81). Defending Open Champion Coty Saucier is 4th in Total (9534) and 4th in Average (207.26). Jon Zimmer Jr is 1st in Total (12223) and 7th in Average (188.05).

Menninga is only 102 points behind Bill Payne in Total Points, so he could improve his score with just a few round wins this weekend. Of course, Bill Payne has a big schedule left this summer with many more points available. Zimmer can’t improve on Total points since he is already #1, but he close to David Olfert in Averages (189.87) and could gain a spot there. Coty Saucier has big gaps between him and the next ranks in both Total and Average, so he is unlikely to make a move this weekend, but big points at the World Finals can set him up to gain ground in future weeks.

The race track in Salt Lake City has looked challenging and fast and we saw some great racing at the LCQ already. We’re excited to see how racing goes for the main field over the next two days!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us with reporting events this week: Lee Collins, J.r. Rouse, Dillon Fenley, Andrew Thornton, Jason Court, Nate Bay, Phil Vicinanza, Kaden Allen, Bryan Wagner, Preston Perez, Connor McNeil, David Rife, Max Gillie, Kirk Nagy, Nick Wishard, Nicholas Kraemer and everyone who posted videos and photos online!
