===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JUNE 19th – 24th, 2026 =====
Tyler Menninga shows that he has mastered monster trucks in all sort of conditions as he raced through the field to win on a slippy track in Pittsburgh and retake the #1 ranking in the Open Championship.
Throwdown went figure-8 racing again in Joliet and Tripp Jones took home the win when David Olfert “tripped” over the final turn marker. Despite the loss, Olfert gained enough points to rejoin the Top Ten.
Thomas Borders won twice and added a runner-up finish with the Full Throttle Tour as they begin to heat up for the summer fair season. Preston Perez also won two this weekend with the Renegade Tour after replacing a broken transmission that had knocked him out earlier in the weekend.
Jim Koehler won the Father’s Day Super Show in Dacono this year. He beat out Tim Hall Jr who had just traveled in after winning in Cortez, Colorado the night before. Hall has raced in 80 brackets which is the most of all drivers this season. Carson Williams had a win and runner-up finish in Cortez.
Paul Craighead now has 8 consecutive wins after picking up 2 more in Omak. Stanley Hernandez won a big win with the Wahoo Tour in Saint Michael, North Dakota.
This weekend also saw 5 new drivers join the rankings; Ryan Holman debut a new chassis in Chillicothe; the new Crush Zone tour race in Fort Smith, Arkansas; Geno Kinal and Wally Turner both return to the driver’s seat; and plenty of other highlights all mentioned below.
