===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JUNE 12th – 19th, 2025 =====

As posted earlier, we found a big mistake in our calculations earlier this week. Many drivers were being scored too low because their ratings somehow got jumbled. This especially affected the Stadium East series, but the entire standings were effected. We have fixed the problem and recalculated the standings, so you will note that lots of numbers have changed. Most drivers are in roughly the same spot as before, but other have moved around, and many drivers will notice that their Points and Averages have been corrected, as well.

We apologize for the error and any confusion or disappointment it may have caused. We do have checks that we run each week on the formulas, but the error came from static data entered into the cell, so it was not something that should have needed a regular check.

Meanwhile on the track, the All Star assembled the highest-rated independent event of the season (and 2nd highest of ALL events) with a 1.250-rated bracket at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania. Triton Robbins and Jon Zimmer Sr were the winners of the two nights of racing.

Brandon Derrow was a winner at Miller Farms again, taking home all 3 races. Bill Payne, Mat Briand, Kory Kinal, Dillon Fenley, Ryan Holman, and John Seasock also swept their 2-race weekends. Yes, John Seasock! The veteran driver and multiple-time World Finals champion returned to the seat in Toledo, Ohio as a fill-in driver for fellow Pennsylvanians Xtreme Monster Sports. Seasock got to pilot the Muddy Girl truck which was originally going to be his then-new Sudden Impact racer way back in the earlier 2000s.

The crazy summer schedules are also continuing: the Monster Spectacular was roaming the rinks again in Ontario this weekend while the Full Throttle tour followed the fairs around the Midwest. Expect more of the same as the summer heat starts to rise.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us with reporting events this week: J.r Rouse, Mike Bevacqua, Dillon Fenley, Nick Jones, Kory Kinal, Bryan Wagner, David Rife, Mark Werner, Jeremy Hall, Connor McNeil, Bryan Anger, Dawson Rayas, Austin Ashley, Carson Williams, Max Gillie, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

===== BARRIE, ON =====

6/15 Sun Aft: MICHAEL VATERS II [Overkill Evolution] defeated Michael Vaters I [Black Stallion]

After a few events with disappointing results, Mike Jr in Overkill Evolution got back into the winner’s circle with his 7th win of the season in Barrie, Ontario.

===== BERLIN, NJ =====

6/14 Sat Aft: BRANDON DERROW [Bad News Travels Fast] defeated Preston Pérez [Culture Shock]

6/14 Sat Ngt: BRANDON DERROW [Bad News Travels Fast] defeated Steven Thompson [Hurricane Force]

6/15 Sun Aft: BRANDON DERROW [Bad News Travels Fast] defeated Steven Thompson [Hurricane Force]

Brandon Derrow winning in Berlin is becoming a Father’s Day tradition for KSR Motorsports. In 2019, Derrow swept all 3 races at Miller Farms; he won twice in 2021, 2022, and 2023; and won once with 2 runner-up finishes last year. The competition was a bit different this year with Steven Thompson in Hurricane Force and Preston Perez in Culture Shock providing the main competition, but the results were the same as Derrow traveled fast into victory lane all three brackets. He has 7 wins in his 13 races this season and needs 7 more reports to join the rankings.

===== BILLINGS, MT =====

This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== COOS BAY, OR =====

6/13 Fri Ngt: BILL PAYNE [Rock Star] defeated Nick Jones [Spitfire]

6/14 Sat Ngt: BILL PAYNE [Rock Star] defeated Nick Jones [Spitfire]

That’s win 17 and 18 for Bill Payne this season as the Rock Star rises up into 13th place.

===== DACONO, CO =====

6/15 Sun Aft: ALEX BARDIN [Rockwell R.E.D.] defeated Tim Hall Jr [Jurassic Attack]

Alex Bardin made up a full truck’s length disadvantage over the final 50-feet of race course at the Colorado International Raceway to win the annual Father’s Day race and pick up his 1st win of the season. Tim Hall Jr was aggressive off the line and flew over the first jump of the track while Bardin kept a lower approach. While that gave the Jurassic Attack driver a healthy lead, it also gave him a bad bounce in no man’s land which zapped all of his speed just at the time that Bardin was powering up for his drive to the finish line.

===== ESCANABA, MI =====

6/14 Sat Aft: BRETT FALVEY [The Haymaker] defeated Dustin Spallone [High Tide]

Brett Falvey now has 3 wins in his last 4 races after winning the four-truck Throwdown in Escanaba. He’s up into the Top 30 with the new Haymaker truck and has 11 wins and 21 finals in his 32 races this season.

===== GREENFIELD, IN =====

6/19 Thu Ngt: ROGER GAUGER [Bigfoot] defeated Dalton VanSkyock [Stomper]

The Full Throttle tour had their second consecutive week with a Thursday night race and the results were still the same. Roger Gauger won for the 4th time, defeating Stomper on the two-jump drag track. Gauger had missed the final round only once in his ten races this season.

===== HAILEY, ID =====

6/14 Sat Ngt: JACOB LADWIG [Rat Attack] defeated Tim Manchester [Hillbilly]

Tim Manchester advanced passed the El Taco Loco truck to reach his 3rd final round of the season but could not get past Insanity Tour champion Jacob Ladwig. The Rat Attack is 3-0 against Hillbilly this season.

===== INDIANAPOLIS, IN =====

This Overdrive Tour event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== KALISPELL, MT =====

6/14 Sat Aft: We do not have results from this event

6/14 Sat Ngt: COREY CLARK [Rockwell R.E.D.] defeated Caden Morris [Dragon Slayer]

The No Limits tour loves creating challenging tracks for the drivers and in Kalispell it was a tight U-turn course. The turn created plenty of trouble through the bracket. Justin Elliott in Controlled Khaos led through the turn, but swung out wide into the opposite lane and couldn’t swing back to meet the final car set in time, which let James Anthony in The Veteran speed by for the win. Brothers Travis and Tyler Groth played nice during their consolation race, as the trucks got close but with only a light tap in the turn.

Veteran Corey Clark, however, was racing for the win when he met James Anthony in the semi-finals. Clark slid wide in the turn and briefly interlocked wheels with The Veteran, before the two managed to safely separate. Clark raced to the win in that heat, and then used a very tight and sharp turn in the finals to beat Caden Morris in the new-look Dragon Slayer for his 2nd win of the season.

We are still missing the racing results from the afternoon event.

===== MOSES LAKE, WA =====

6/14 Sat Aft: STANLEY HERNANDEZ [Lone Wolf] defeated Leroy Latham [USA-1]

6/14 Sat Ngt: DONNY HEBERT [Temporarily Insane] defeated Leroy Latham [USA-1]

Stanley Hernandez has been in the finals plenty this season but wins have been hard to come by. He finished the job in Moses Lake, however, winning for the 4th time this season and building up a 4-race points-scoring streak. Donny Hebert took the night cap over Leroy Latham, the newest Team USA-1 driver who made his driving debut.

===== NEW BERLIN, IL =====

6/12 Thu Ngt: ROGER GAUGER [Bigfoot] defeated Jasmin Borders [Clumsy Monkey]

The Full Throttle driver love racing and couldn’t wait for the weekend so they went at it on Thursday night at the Sangamon County Fair. Jasmin Borders used the fast-loser position and a win over Thomas Border in Monkey Business to advance to her 2nd final round of the season; but it was tour champion Roger Gauger in Bigfoot going undefeated and picking up his 3rd win of the season.

===== NORTH EAST, PA =====

6/13 Fri Ngt: TRITON ROBBINS [Krazy Train] defeated Montana Robbins [Plane Krazy]

6/14 Sat Ngt: JON ZIMMER SR [Uproar] defeated David Olfert [Dirt Crew]

This was very truly an All Star event as Bryan Wagner and the crew assembled the 2nd-highest rated roster of drivers so far this season. The 1.250 competition caliber rating is second only to Monster Jam’s Stadium event in San Antonio! Four of the six drivers advanced to the finals over the two day race, with Daron Basl and Jon Zimmer Jr missing out. But that’s hardly an insult considering the drivers they were facing.

Triton Robbins wins his 20th race of the season over brother Montana on Friday night, racing on the huge asphalt reverse-Chicago style course. David Olfert eliminated Triton in the semi-finals on Saturday but could not keep up with Jon Zimmer Sr in Uproar as the veteran driver raced to his 8th win of the season. Each win paid out 345 points which was the most for any 6-truck event this season and the 4th highest independent pay-out behind only Miami, OK; Bristol, TN; and Salinas, CA.

===== PADUCAH, KY =====

6/14 Sat Aft: RYAN HOLMAN [Amped Up] defeated Josh Holman [Rescue Racer]

6/15 Sun Aft: RYAN HOLMAN [Godzilla] defeated Josh Holman [Rescue Racer]

Ryan and Josh Holman met in the finals for the 5th time this season and Ryan remains undefeated. He has the most racing wins on the Monster Truck Bash tour this season.

===== ROSWELL, NM =====

6/13 Fri Ngt: DILLON FENLEY [King Krunch] defeated Chris Davis [Fire Hazzard]

6/14 Sat Ngt: DILLON FENLEY [King Krunch] defeated Chris Davis [Fire Hazzard]

Dillon Fenley has 10 wins in his 13 events this season.

===== SAINT MICHAEL, ND =====

6/14 Sat Ngt: MIKEAL CHRISTENSEN [Vendetta] defeated Brandi Schmidt [Monster Patrol]

It was an unusual collection of teams for the races in Saint Michael, North Dakota. Tim Jones had Tail Gator and Smashosaurus (driven by Whitney Hayes), the Schmidts brought Monster Patrol and Bearly Tame, and hosts Team Throttle Monster had Stadium Series stats Dalton Widner and Mike Christensen. Each one of the 6 heats was the first meeting of those drivers in head-to-head racing. In a night of First Times, veteran Mike Christensen picked up the win which—surprisingly—was also his first win of the season.

===== SEEKONK, MA =====

This Renegade Tour event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT =====

This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== TOLEDO, OH =====

6/14 Sat Aft: JOHN SEASOCK [Muddy Girl] defeated Paul Strong [Quad Chaos]

6/14 Sat Ngt: JOHN SEASOCK [Muddy Girl] defeated Kaila Savage [USA-1]

Yes, THAT John Seasock. Two-time Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion from the late-2000’s returned to action for the first time in years and quickly won both holeshot races in Toledo. Seasock—from Frackville, Pennsylvania—drove the Muddy Girl in place of Anne Breaud—based on Airville, Pennsylvania. History fans will know that the Muddy Girl chassis was the former Eradicator chassis of Andy Slifko, which was originally slated to be Seasock’s Sudden Impact truck before he purchased the Liquidator truck instead.

===== TRURO, NS =====

6/14 Sat Aft: MAT BRIAND [Train Wreck] defeated Krystal Carey [Sabotage]

6/14 Sat Ngt: MAT BRIAND [Train Wreck] defeated Krystal Carey [Sabotage]

The drivers on the Edge Monster Madness tour had a tough track to tame in Truro, beginning with a steep kicker jump over concrete barriers, before a short run on grass to a rampless car set. There was lots of big air, especially as drivers tried to figure out the fastest way over the concrete barriers, but both events it was Mat Briand and Krystal Carey making the finals with Briand in Trainwreck taking both wins.

===== TULSA, OK =====

6/14 Sat Aft: KORY KINAL [Jekyll & Hyde] defeated Alec White [Bounty Hunter]

6/14 Sat Ngt: KORY KINAL [Jekyll & Hyde] defeated Dan Dahlgren [Shark Bite]

Kory Kinal wins for the 3rd time in a row on the 2X Tour, giving him 5 wins in his last 6 races as the tour moves to San Bernardino, California this upcoming weekend. Alec White made a guest appearance driving Bounty Hunter and finished as runner-up in the first event.

===== WINDSOR, ON =====

6/14 Sat Aft: MICHAEL VATERS I [Black Stallion] defeated Michael Vaters II [Overkill Evolution]

A wild concrete holeshot race in Windsor as Mike Sr narrowly beats son Mike Jr to the finish line, but the cars had launched the Black Stallion with a heavy list towards the middle of the track. After a hard landing on the sidewalls, Vaters managed to keep his truck on all fours but not before running into the side of the Overkill truck in the opposite lane!
