===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR JULY 3rd – JULY 11th, 2024 =====

It’s fair season and the schedule has been crazy. If you’re at any events over the next couple months (especially those smaller mid-week ones) we definitely need your help with results!

Jon Zimmer Jr won in both the mud and the sun with back-to-back wins in Fowlersville on the Throdown tour. He’s up to 11th place and only 400 points behind Weston Anderson.

Warsaw, Indiana also saw a mud-to-sun two race set with RJ Turner picking up the muddy drag race and Preston Perez winning on the sunny J-turn.

Jasmin Borders won her first career racing bracket in front of her hometown fans in Terre Haute on the Full Throttle Tour this past Sunday.

Statistically, the biggest win of the weekend went to Carson Williams in Kamikaze as he took out a tough field of trucks on an even tougher S-Course in Montana to win 252 points.

This weekend coming up has monster trucks all over the place! The Full Throttle Tour continues in Troy, Missouri; Throwdown is back in historic Mansfield, Ohio and also Ionia, Michigan; the Renegades are in Crownsville, Maryland; Malicious Tour in West Richland; Overdrive will be in Waconia; Monster Jam is in 3 different countries at the same time (USA, Canada, and England); plus we’ve got the return of monster truck racing to the 4-Wheel Jamboree in Bloomsburg!

Thank you to everyone who reported results to us this weekend: Preston Perez, Aaron Basl, Nick Kraemer, Ethan Jones, Mike Bevacqua, J.r Rouse, Jeremy Otto, Bryan Wagner, Nate Bay, Rob Poutre, Stanley Hernandez, Kirk Nagy, Phil Vicinanza, and everyone who posted videos and photos online!

7/9 Tue Ngt: RJ TURNER [War Wizard] defeated Preston Pérez [Toxic]

7/10 Wed Ngt: PRESTON PÉREZ [Toxic] defeated Joe Foley [Axe]

Tuesday night in Warsaw saw the racing track rearranged into a straight line drag due to heavy rains that flooded the track. In those conditions it was the big cleats and power in War Wizard that came out on top as RJ Turner powered past the competition for his 3rd win of the season. Preston Perez was runner-up, giving him 4 consecutive final round appearances, and he made it five on Wednesday. With a dryer track, the course was switched to a J-Turn style. RJ Turner broke after the first round which gave Joe Foley a bye run into the finals, but it was Perez in Toxic who picked up the win. That gives him 8 on the season and moves him up 2 spots.
