===== WEEKEND RECAP FOR APRIL 3^rd – 5^th, 2026 =====

Jon Zimmer Jr was one turn away from his 20^th win of the season but spun out against Loghan Ashline, who claimed her first career racing win! She joined fellow female racers Brianna Mahon and Kaley Engstrom who also picked up wins this weekend.

Preston Perez returned to the Renegade Tour now driving for Team Throttle Monster and picked up both wins in Clear Brook. On the Malicious Tour, Nick Jones and Bill Payne traded wins in Merced. Dillon Fenley increased his winning streak to 11 races. Colton Fowler has his 5 race winning streak come to an end in City of Industry.

We have increased the minimum number of races required to be ranked from 10 to 15. We will have one more increase from 15 to 20 before the summer and this will be the last increase for the season. As a result, many drivers have been dropped from the rankings this week. They can rejoin the ranking once they have reached the new minimum number of reported races.

Weston Anderson moves up another spot in the rankings to reach the Top Ten for the first time in a month. He now has 13 wins this season with the Monster Jam Arena Central tour. Brianna Mahon won her 2^nd race of the year, making her the 4^th woman with multiple wins this season. Fernando Martinez picks up 2 finals and picked up 2 spots in the rankings. He’s been in the finals 12 times in 30 events this season.

===== CHANDLER, AZ =====

4/4 Sat Aft: JIMMY CRETEN [Bounty Hunter] defeated Dawn Creten [Scarlet Bandit]

The 2X Tour returned to the Firebird Motorsports Park and their long off-road drag racing course for the 2^nd time this year. Last time it was Austin Minton and Dawn Creten each picking up wins. This time around, Dawn was back in the finals (for the 3^rd time in her last 4 races) but came up short to Jimmy as the Bounty Hunter pulled away at the final jump.

===== CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA =====

4/4 Sat Aft: COLTON FOWLER [T-Rex] defeated Brandon Pezo [Outlaw]

4/4 Sat Ngt: KALEY ENGSTROM [Shark Attack] defeated Colten Budd [Loco Motive]

Colton Fowler picked up his 5^th win in 6 events during the Saturday afternoon race in City of Industry, California. His streak came to an end in the evening when Kaley Engstrom won for the 14^th time of the year—most among all women this season.

===== CLEAR BROOK, VA =====

4/4 Sat Aft: PRESTON PÉREZ [Velociraptor] defeated Preston Collins [Jurassic Attack]

4/4 Sat Ngt: PRESTON PÉREZ [Velociraptor] defeated Daniel Donnelly [Illuminator]

Preston Perez swept the Renegade Tour roundy-round racing in Clear Brook for Team Throttle Monster. He took out current teammate Preston Collins in Jurassic Attack during the afternoon race, and then beat former teammate Daniel Donnelly driving Warped Motorsport’s Illuminator. Perez was the winningest driver in the sport just two years ago, but has had a tough time of it on the Toughest Tour this season. These were his first two wins of the season.

4/4 Sat Aft: JERRY FURAJTER [Shark Attack] defeated Devin Jones [T-Rex]

4/4 Sat Ngt: We do not have results from this event

Jerry Furajter built up a 5-race winning streak with the Monster Truck Wars tour in Lebanon with his 13^th win over Devin Jones this season. The evening race was moved up due to an incoming storm, but Mother Nature won this battle as rains came pouring down just 10 minutes into the event. We are not yet sure if racing was completed or not, so if you know what the final round was (if any) please let us know!

This Hot Wheels Live event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== MERCED, CA =====

4/3 Fri Ngt: NICK JONES [Spitfire] defeated Bill Payne [Rock Star]

4/4 Sat Ngt: BILL PAYNE [Rock Star] defeated Nick Jones [Spitfire]

The Malicious Tour ran another big outdoor asphalt SoCal course in Merced. Nick Jones and Bill Payne met up in the finals for (surprisingly) only the 3^rd time this season. They split the weekend, so Nick still leads the series 2-1. The tour will be in Phoenix, Arizona next weekend.

===== MESQUITE, TX =====

4/4 Sat Ngt: DILLON FENLEY [King Krunch] defeated Chris Davis [Fire Hazzard]

The Monster Truck Havoc tour was in Mesquite for a long holeshot style course on concrete. Dillon Fenley remains unbeatable with his 11 straight bracket win.

This Monster Jam Arena event did not include side-by-side racing and so points were not awarded

===== TUPELO, MS =====

4/3 Fri Ngt: JON ZIMMER JR [Terminal Velocity] defeated Montana Robbins [Plane Krazy]

4/4 Sat Aft: JON ZIMMER JR [Terminal Velocity] defeated Triton Robbins [Krazy Train]

4/4 Sat Ngt: LOGHAN ASHLINE [Sparkle Smash] defeated Jon Zimmer Jr [Terminal Velocity]

Jon Zimmer Jr came one turn away from his 20^th win of the season on Saturday night. He spun out in the final turn against Loghan Ashline to miss out on the weekend sweep. For Ashline, this was her first career racing win since she started racing in summer of 2023. She has advanced to the semi-finals 11 times this season and the finals twice in Hampton, Virginia earlier this quarter.
